Our Instructors:

Our academy features instructors who are experienced, enthusiastic, and skilled at teaching and dedicated to helping you reach your goals. Our taekwondo programs have the bestself defense classes in Toronto. They also teach children and adults technique, as well as focus, concentration and self discipline. You are invited to try a class today. We offer a variety of weekly classes, which include beginning and advanced training classes, children and adult classes, family classes and private lessons. Master Foroughi's Tigerkim Martial Arts Academy has excellent children and teenager programs. The instructors are dedicated to teaching your children how to be successful in everything they do. Your children will develop a high tolerance to frustration, increased concentration, more respect for others, self defense and other positive traits that will help them through life. What about age?

Whether you're Male or Female, 4 or 74… we'll help you realize your maximum potential. Our Martial arts programs in Toronto are an individual pursuit. You'll learn to grow at your own pace in a safe, exciting and supportive environment.





Questions & Answers:
Q: How many days a week am I expected to train once I join the school?
A: There is no set number of days which anyone has to train - however in order to improve upon technique and get the most out of the belt curriculum - 2 or 3 times a week is strongly recommended on a consistent basis throughout the year

Q: What if I am not flexible or if I am out of shape - can I do Taekwondo?
A: Anyone can do Taekwondo and get enjoyment out of it - it is all about the positive attitude and effore the student brings to into the class each day. Improved flexibility and fitness will come naturally if the student trains consistently and puts a positive effort

Q: How long will it take me to get a black belt?
A: This will depend on how often you train and your ability to fully meet the belt curriculum. Generally the minimum is 3 years of training to be able to test for the black belt

Q: How do I ensure I do not get hurt when I train?
A: We offer a very safe environment for training with expirenced and qualified instructors who understand about school saftey during training. There is however allways a risk that a injury can occur - as with any sport. Student's need to be aware of their own limitations and ensure they are sensible with what they do.

Q: What benefits can Taekwondo provide in my life?
A: Taekwondo offers a healthy lifestyle - as it focuses on mental and physical aspects of martial arts training. At Master Foroughi's Tigerkim Academy we promote a safe and healthy enviroment where everyone is treated with respect. Honesty and integrity are key to what we believe in. Training in martial arts offers endless learning as techniques can allways be improved upon, and the challenge of the physical training pushes the student to go to the next level within their physical body and mental state.
